This was at the bottom... no, thats not the Colorado River.. thats a stream.. the river is further down the stream... anyway.. it was 110 degrees and real humid down there.. but it was really neat, cause when you think about it, veryvery few people ever actually SEE the bottom of the grand canyon.. so im one of the privileged few.. and no, the top of that rock there is NOT the top of the canyon.. in fact its not even close.. look at some of the bigger pictures of the canyon.. you'll see a "floor", with ravines cut thru it where the rivers go.. that rock is the "floor"... and yes, i was sitting on a rock in the middle of the stream when i took this.. how very perceptive of you.. : )
