This was on the way back up... the reason it looks so grey and hazey in the distance is because there was a storm rolling through the canyon.. so naturally it follows that the rain was blocking out some of the canyon from my view.. but anyway... the thing in the foreground is some weird looking plant that there were quite a few of in there...
