This is Quandary Peak. The group that I climbed this with consisted of me, my brother Chris, Allen Johnson, and Jason Pinkerton.. When climbing this peak, most people climb along that gently sloping ridge that you can see from the right of the picture all the way up to the summit.. however, before we left, Jason mentioned that he had to be home by 6 pm, so we looked in our trail book, and found a route that was only about 2 and a half miles long.. we were kind of stupid, and didnt realize until we got there that that was two and a half miles straight up.. basically it consisted of climbing up the face of the mountain on the left side of the picture (the south face.. its partly obscured by the tree...) so, that probably wasn't the best idea, but oh well, we did it, and obviously, we returned alive.. alls well that ends well...
