This was taken part way up Quandary Peak... Yes, it was that steep the whole way.. (about 2 miles..) Plus it was annoying, cause it was all loose rocks, so coming down was not the most fun thing ive ever done.. but it was well worth it i think.. but anwyay, there is always really cool lichen on rocks at the tops of mountains.. always brilliant yellow, red and orange... as you can see there...
