This and the other picture from my back deck were taken a couple of days after i got home for winter break during my freshman year at CMU... The weather was (as you can see) wonderful, just to prove to me once again (like i really needed it...) that Pittsburgh is not where i want to spend my life.. :) (Remember, this picture was taken in the middle of December in Colorado Springs, Colorado.. )

The mountain at the very right is Pikes Peak, elevation 14,110 feet.. (the elevation of my house is just under 7,000 feet)... Cheyenne Mountain, home of NORAD and the world-famous Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (Woohoo!!), is just off the left edge of the picture... Garden of the Gods is visible too, but if you don't know what it is, don't bother worrying about it.. (its kind of hard to spot anyway, so i won't try to point it out...)
